In the last several months I have been frustrated with car salesmen trying to get me to go to their car lot and sell me something that I don’’t want when I was clear on what I was looking for. My experience when purchasing a 2003 Corvette from Pippert Cars & Trucks in February 2011 sight unseen was very pleasant. Bob (owner) is very sincere and honest about everything and was prompt in replying to all of my questions via email/phone calls because I am from the Twin Cities so didn’t want to drive 4 hours to just kick the tires. He was very flexible and could meet me after hours if need be because I had to drive so far to get there. Upon arriving to pick up the Vette-sight unseen, everything checked out on what he said about the Vette and I was not disappointed. No sales pressure that you would normally get and he lets you take your time inspecting/test driving the vehicle without overselling it. In fact, he left me alone with the Vette while in comparison to other places where they would breathe down your neck. I also appreciate that he filled the gas tank so that I would just be able to drive it home. In most dealerships you would be lucky to have enough to get to the nearest gas station. Overall, my great experience is due to a few key words: sincere, honest, patience, polite, integrity, and consideration. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle even if what you want is currently not in the inventory because he can try to find it for you. The days where a good old fashioned handshake was good enough has long passed, but my experience at Pippert Cars & Trucks is as close as you will get to it. Thanks!!
